Cross-platform MMORPG Adventure Quest 3D is looking at some new features and impending updates as the holidays approach. They may even be opening up the first new area in the Dragons of Ashfall saga.
New Features
There are a couple of new things going on with Adventure Quest 3D. For starters, they were working hard to try to make Apple’s submission deadline tomorrow, for a client update. Despite lead coder Zhoom’s best efforts, the update will have to wait until after the holidays.
The developers also tease the idea of opening up the first new area in the Dragons of Ashfall saga. According to the post, it may be open as early as next week. Either way, players will be able to upgrade their seasonal items to level 15.
One of the game’s programmers, identified as Kraken, has been working on adding bank vaults to the game. Players can now head to major towns and specialized banker NPCs to access their bank vaults.
Warlic, who does coding, music, sound effects, and apparently marathons, is nearly finished with the game’s party system. Players will soon be able to group up. More people means more slaying means more fun.
There’s also a new fast travel map in the works, where players can explore and unlock new sections. A lot of work is being done in preparation for the Dragons of Ashfall saga. Either that, or they’ve all taken off for the holidays already, and Artix is alone in the office and rather bored. Stay tuned for the release of these anticipated updates.
