One of the best things a video game developer can do is help out their player base even when they don’t necessarily ask for it. It doesn’t have to be a big thing, it can be a little thing that just has a significant impact. Take for example what the team at AdventureQuest 3D are doing. They revealed on Steam that they were going to help out their struggling players by expanding their inventory by 10. That’s right, players can now have ten more inventory items.
This actually comes off of another update that recently happened where the game allowed players to get more invisible items. Like literally invisible, it’s a whole thing. As well as giving them ten more bag slots. It’s refreshing to see them go the extra mile for their players, it makes you hope that other developers will model their desire. But wait, that’s not all the team has plans to update.
Earlier in the month, the AdventureQuest 3D released the land of Darkovia for players to explore and be a part of. Players have already been enjoying the first part of the story of the land, especially the “Vampires vs Werewolves” elements. But, that’s only part one, part two will be coming soon.
What can you expect in part two? Well, you’ll get to go deep into Darkovia’s forest, and meet a hunter of werewolves called Little Dread (I’m sure there’s a reason he’s called that). And with his help, you’ll start to explore the forest for a dark secret that’s said to be held there.
Also, there’s a new build of the game that should be coming soon. It promises to not only squash many bugs that are filing up the game, but will also bring the first run of the Dragonslayer class that has been promised.
