AdventureQuest 3D is going through some interface changes, or as Artix Krieger jokingly calls it, Inter-Face changes. They are doing some changes in the design and looks of the character selection screen, the in-game interface, and the name plates and menus. Although we are all aware of the changes and how they are going to be, this will not be live until after the release of patch 1.4.
Before you enter the world of any MMORPG, you need to select a character to play with, and that is the 1st thing you will notice that is being worked on and is different from what it used to be. There will be a big Play button close to the player’s thumb, in the bottom right corner of the screen, and a new option will be added called “Go to Friend” wich is already a feature in this game, but now instead of doing all the steps after logging in to use it, you can use it before logging in.
The name is self-explanatory, as the feature will let you teleport to your friend, especially if your friend invites you and gives you a Summon Word. From now on the server selection screen will be an optional screen, since there is no need to go through this as you can enter any server with your character. Once you hit “play” it will take you to the fastest responding server, ready to play.
The in-game menu will get a new look called the Right Hand Menu, which pops right above your right hand, above the backpack, allowing the player to have a vision of the game through the left part of the screen. And if a player appears on the left side of the screen, when you click them, there is an inspect option, giving way more information than it used to You can view their items, check their guild, their titles, and much more.
According to Artix Krieger in his article about AQ3D, the AdventureQuest 3D team suffered some major bug problems wich prolonged the release date by one day. You can check the whole post and everything related to it in the link above.
