Progress is honestly one of the most important things in video game development. For without progress, the game never goes anywhere. This definitely goes for games that are on services like Steam Early Access, for these games aren’t finished, and only through progress will they get off the “Early Access” moniker. So, it’s important for the devs of these games to make sure that progress is explained. And thankfully, that is exactly what the team at Battlerite are doing. For they have outlined everything you can expect from the game in 2017.
Battlerite is a PVP team arena brawler, one that has many updates while it’s been on Steam Early Access, and on a blog on their site, they’ve revealed some interesting things about the future, as well as what has happened in the recent past. For example, during July, the team worked on refining their pipelines so in regards to creating new game modes, new champions and more. But now, they’re choosing to focus more directly on things that’ll affect the game.
Such as a patch that will arrive by the end of August. This patch will focus on not just gameplay and champions balancing, but also add some new customization features. But, once the game reaches September, a much larger patch will come. One that will usher in a new champion for the game. There will also be new cosmetics that you can look forward to.
As if that’s not enough, the Battlerite team is looking forward to ushering in the Free-To-Play community and making sure that when they arrive (once the game leaves Early Access) that everything will be ready for them to enjoy the game in full. Or, mostly in full.
And that’s just the beginning, the team is looking forward to the future of Battlerite, and they hope you join them as progress is maintained and implemented.
