Battlerite is a PvP team brawler game that’s currently on Steam Early Access. But the game is getting ever closer to launch, and thus big changes are coming. Not the least of which was new patch that brought a lot of new content to the game. But that’s not all that’s happening this week for the game, thus, the team released a weekly update chronicling everything that is happening and is about to happen. Here are the highlights.
First up, the patch. Battlerite got several additions via its “pre-launch patch,” not the least of which was a brand new game mode called Battlegrounds. In this new mode, players have to complete objectives in an event phase. If they’re able to complete them, an assault phase will start up. The way to win is to kill the other teams Guardian, but getting the ability to do that is dependent on your completing your tasks.
There’s also a brand new Battlerite system within the game itself. Now, you’ll be able to select 5 different abilities for your character that you’ll be able to use instantly in the match. Other additions via the patch include a brand new UI system, several new quests, a new AFK system that’ll help detect inactive players, and of course, updates on the champions themselves.
Oh, and if you wish to participate in the latest costume design contest for Battlerite, you have until tonight to submit your entry, so don’t miss out on your chance to have your design be put into the game!
Halloween is almost here, and that means that the Halloween event for the game is almost over. You only have a little time left to get the Creepy Chests.
Be sure to check out the weekly update to ensure you know what else has been going on, including getting to see some fun Battlerite fan art!
