Battlerite has released a brand new patch, which aims to bring a number of improvements, particularly to both performance and UI. There is also a new Champion being introduced, known as Destiny, the Sky Ranger. This patch was introduced today, and revealed the following description for the new character:
An elite sky ranger from the secluded, invisible city of Enza. Many years of rigorous combat training using Magi-tech weaponry makes Destiny an agile and deadly force to be reckoned with. Fed up with the strict regulations of living in Enza, Destiny often escapes the city to blow off some steam and have fun in the arena.
As for general improvements and fixes, we have seen a performance spike being fixed in which champions would become visible whilst standing in the fog of war. There had also been an FPS drop which players experienced when Ruh Kaan killed someone with his primary attack.
Also, resolution options for the following aspect ratios have been introduced: 5:4, 4:3, 3:2, 5:3, 16:10, 16:9, 17:9, 21:9. This should give players who have been struggling with GPU to reduce the resolution and ultimately increase performance.
We’ve also seen Loadout Picking time reduced from 90 to 60 seconds, as well as the following bots being added to VS AI and Private Matches: Blossom, Ezmo, Poloma, Rook, Ruh Kaan, Varesh and UI.
