There are a lot of ways to help make a video game special outside of developer made events. One of them is to make your own events with other players, and that’s exactly what Redditor GoodVibesGuy has done for Black Desert Online. In the past, he has made tournaments with other players in the PvP arena, and then streamed them online for all to see. And now he’s going to do it again. But this time, the tournament is a little bigger, and will be a 3v3 contest.
This tournament will take place on November 4th, and signups are available now if you want to make sure you have a spot in it. You can either sign up as a complete team, or as a single player. If you’re the latter, you’ll be assigned to a team that doesn’t have a full roster. The tournament length will be around 5 hours (the previous tournament was just over 6 hours) though he recommends that you make yourself available for most of the day so that you’re not caught off guard should something speed up or slow down the tournament.
The battles will take place in the Arena of Arsha. There will also be a specific channel that’ll house communications and more, that’ll be announced as the tournament gets closer. As for prizes, the top 3 teams will all receive Artisan’s Memories. The grand victor though will also get the choice of getting a value pack, or a maid, or a pet, or certain other treasures along with the Artisan’s Memories.
Opening matches in this 3v3 Black Desert Online tournament will be the best-of-3 with a 5-minute time limit. When the semifinals are reached, it’ll become the best-of-5.
Be sure to read the full rules and breakdown of the tournament before entering, as you don’t want to be thrown out because of a mistake.
