Earlier this year, we saw the announcement of the hit MMORPG Black Desert coming to Xbox One. This revelation came at Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference, and is set to hit the console in early 2018. Black Desert has already been showcased at events such as Gamescom and PAX West, and will now be branching even further afield as Pearl Abyss make an appearance at PAX AUS 2017, which is to be held in Melbourne on October 27-29.
This is to offer Australian BDO fans the opportunity to experience the game first-hand, where attendees will be able to check out gameplay with four of the game’s classes such as Ranger, Striker, Warrior and Witch. These will be displayed on the Xbox One X demo version, which offers native 4K resolution.
Pearl Abyss COO James Heo is looking forward to bringing the MMORPG experience down under:
“We’re extremely excited to be able to let our Australian fans also have an opportunity to try out the console version. We can’t wait to deliver the beauty of Black Desert in true 4K resolution and bring about a whole new console-gaming experience.”
Black Desert has enjoyed plenty of success since launching in Korean back in December 2014, attracting 7.65 million users to date. The game will be making its way to Xbox devices sometime in the beginning of 2018, including Xbox One X, Xbox One S and Xbox One.
