The insanely popular competitive first-person-shooter from Blizzard Entertainment, Overwatch is no stranger to merchandise. One quick look at the Overwatch gear section of the website will tell you that. They have shirts, leggings, Pop! vinyl figures, and even some home & office goods. Today, however, they announced a Widowmaker statue.
In the Youtube video above, the brand new statue can be seen in all its glory, being accompanied by dialogue from the Widowmaker cinematic short released back in April of 2015. The statue is boasted as being hand-painted and 13.5″ tall with a 7.5″ base. No fan of the game can deny that this statue looks just like her, and it’s pretty awesome. I’m just expecting her to say “one shot, one kill” at any moment.
This isn’t the first statue that blizzard has released for Overwatch, however. Back in November, a Reaper statue was announced and fans went crazy. That statue is still being sold today, now alongside the sultry spider-like sniper Pharah loves to solo-ult.
If you’re interested in getting your own Widowmaker statue, you can pre-order up to two of your very own on the official Blizzard gear website. Each collectible statue will set you back $150 USD and is set to be delivered to you “before the end of Q3” according to the sale page.
The arrival of this Widowmaker statue can only mean one thing: there will be more in the future. This is an exciting prospect for any fans willing to shell out some of their hard-earned dollars for the hand-painted collectibles. Personally, I’m holding out for a D.Va statue—one depicting her in her “I Heart You” victory pose next to her mech.
