The next patch in the World of Warcraft: Legion expansion is titled The Tomb of Sargeras. With it comes not only a bunch of fixes but also new content for players to enjoy. Coming out on the 29th, Blizzard thought it was a good idea to piece together an expansive preview of the patch so that fans know exactly what’s coming with it. The Patch Notes for the update won’t be available just yet, but Blizzard will let fans know when it’s available to read and check out.
The biggest part of the update/patch is easily the focus on the return to the Broken Shore. If you recall, the Broken Shore is where the Legion comes from, and it’s armies spread across Azeroth from it. But now, you get to take the fight to them, as all the races, and the players playing them, come together to take on the Legion on their home turf. You’ll first get a point on the beach where you can establish a special base. Then, you’ll get new missions that will further develop the plot.
But be wary, because the Legion will still be doing attacks on Azeroth. When these happen, World of Warcraft players will be asked to team up to repel these Incursion events that are called “Legion Assaults.” They can happen anywhere at any time, so be ready.
For those who seek a more refined experience, there are some more classic updates that’ll come with the patch, such as a new dungeon in the form of the Cathedral of the Night, where you’ll enter the upper chamber of the tomb of Sargeras to find certain evils lurking within.
Add to that a Pet Battle Dungeon, PVP Brawl events, special weapons and Transmogrification sets, and you got a full-on patch for you to enjoy in World of Warcraft.
