Blizzard is teasing a Heroes of the Storm announcement scheduled for tomorrow morning at 9AM. The team will go live to announce what the community expects is a new hero, and everyone has their guess as to who it is.
Heroes of the Storm Tomorrow
Across their social media outlets, Blizzard is teasing the announcement about Heroes of the Storm that they will make tomorrow morning. In the short video they posted to Twitter, we might be getting a clue as to who the new hero will be. The video shows a throwing axe landing on a drawing of what appears to be Arthas, so we can be sure the character hails from the Warcraft universe.

Savvy players are suspecting the new hero to be Zul’jin, the axe throwing warlord of the Amani forest trolls. This would add one more to the already 30 playable heroes (31 if you’re counting Cho and Gall as two) from the Warcraft universe. The game also features 13 heroes from StarCraft, 13 from Diablo, 2 from Overwatch, and one “Blizzard Classic” character, or trio actually, with The Lost Vikings.
The community is voicing its own opinions in the comments section of the posts, on both Facebook and Twitter. Some believe the new hero to actually be Vol’jin, a shadow hunter of the Darkspear tribe. Some are simply disappointed at the addition of yet another Warcraft hero.

Others simply fly right off the rails, like Blizzard-focused podcast The Blue Recluse, who commented on the Facebook post, “Deckard Cain time!” If League of Legends can have a geezer with a cane, there’s no reason the last of the Horadrim shouldn’t get his turn in Heroes of the Storm.
