Communication between video game developer and video game player is an important thing. Whether it’s just announcing new things for the game, new content that’s eventually coming, fixes being made, or something else entirely, communication needs to be had. This can come via videos, news posts, blogs, or in the case of the case of the Conan Exiles team, a newletter. In fact, the team has launched their first newsletter, and it details the state of the game, what the team have been working on, and more.
First up, the team revealed the state of the PC/Steam version of Conan Exile. They note that they’re working on a new build via a test branch, and are actively making changes based on community feedback. In fact, things are going so well that they hope to release the build to the live game itself this week.
As for Xbox One, the team apologizes for some of the errors and problems the game had during its launch on the system. They hope that it’s better now via the changes they did. However, they’re happy that many did praise the game on the console. You can expect more patches for it, and ones that line up with what the PC version is getting.
The team moved onto what they’ve been doing in Conan Exiles recently. And turns out, it’s a lot, which makes sense as the game isn’t finished.
They’ve been working very hard on fixes bugs and preparing new patches, even making it easier for people to see what changes have been made in-game. New building items are in the works. The combat system is getting an overhaul because of fan requests. The terrain of the world is getting improved. But arguably most importantly, Conan Exiles is going to be getting a fire-themed dungeon soon, as well as a new part of the Exiled Lands.
So, the game seems to be in good hands, don’t you think?
