Xbox One players who are looking to check out Conan Exiles when it releases on the preview program soon will be interested to hear what resolution the game will be running at. These details were unveiled by creative director Joel Bylos, including the framerate and resolution for the console version.
The game will launch on August 16th along with the massive Frozen North expansion, which will be free and add an impressive 70% increased playable area to the base game. After a recent livestream, Bylos revealed that they are looking at 900p and 30fps at launch, which will be the equivalent of “Medium” quality settings on PC. However, keep in mind that Conan Exiles will be one of the titles that will have 4K support when the Xbox One X arrives later this year.
Further details are yet to be revealed in regards to Conan Exiles on Xbox One, such as how many official servers will be available at launch. What we do know is a bit about the inventory management for the console version. Funcom is tweaking the menu system, bringing a radial system in for the usual hot bar when using a controller, which was also shown off in the livestream. Once you switch back to mouse and keyboard on the PC version, the hot bar will reappear.
Conan Exiles is now available on PC. The Xbox One version is set to launch on August 16th, along with the highly anticipated Frozen North expansion. Will you be checking it out on console? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Is it the final finish though. It’s the 26th now and I’ve purchased it. It still says preview and it’s buggy as hell. The gameplay is super sticky. It just doesn’t feel finished or polished for that matter, it keeps kicking me to the main dashboard too. This game has got so much potential but the bugs and stickiness lets it down and barely playable.
