Some games let you live in a world, whilst others let you explore a vast world, and some games even let you build a world. Crowfall falls into that last category, although to be fair you’re not building an entire world, but you are building a section of it in the form of your kingdom. That’s right, every player in the game will be able to build their own kingdom from the ground up, and the Crowfall team has detailed the tool that’ll allow that to happen, the EK Editor Tool.
First off, you must have the deed for the land you are building on to make the EK Editor Tool work. You’ll also need parcels to actually on your land so you can actually make things happen. Once you have those, the work can begin.
For now, only those who own the land and parcels can edit the land. However, the Crowfall team will allow you to delegate construction to your vassals (you are a monarch after all at this point) if you wish. Or, if you want to handle all construction yourself, you can make sure no one but you makes the decisions. Plus, you’ll even have the power to ban other players off the property, should you want.
After you’re all ready, you can go into “Edit Mode” and start making changes. Now, there are rules you must follow in order for changes to work, so be mindful of the guidelines, but as long as you adhere to them, you can alter the terrain and buildings how you want. You can even rotate the camera as you build your kingdom to ensure it looks how you want.
The EK Editor Tool is still in testing, but, it should available to early Crowfall players soon after some more adjustments are made.
