Player customization has always been a huge part of any game. It is what makes the character that you choose to spend hours on truly unique and yours. Having said that, Crowfall is reaching the end of the concept phase for the designs of equipment worn by the different races and genders, so expect to discover the rest of the variants that are still missing. We have the first visuals for the male Assassin and male Druid art.
The armor is intended to be light and soundless, allowing the user to approach their target in the shadows that hide their wings. Outcasts, they don’t embrace their Fae heritage like the sisters they never met do. Their hooded helm hides them and keeps them safe in the darkness, where they conduct their dirty business. Halfbreeds that should not live, they survived thanks to the last gesture of their mothers but grew up in the shadows that molded their future as the Assassins they were born to be.
Druids,on the other hand, know they are a lost cause. Mother Gaea is dead and as much as they try to slow down the passing of their brethren, they cannot heal the dying worlds. The immortal hunger will take them all eventually, but they will fight until the end and destroy all the enemies that stay in their path. Druid gear reflects the duality of life and death in the use of bones, fur, vines and leather, adding plenty of customization options such as hair, skin tone, hair color and colors of the armor and clothing your character will use.
All of the armor pieces that cover your body can be swapped depending on your needs, offering different levels of protection or resistance to different damage types. Mix the armor as you see fit for your purpose to ensure you have the best protection against physical (slash, piece, blunt, bleed), organic (poison, disease, plant) and elemental (fire, cold, lightning) damage.
