Destiny 2 is coming, and it’s already one of the most hyped games that could possibly be coming this year. This is despite the fact that we have virtually no news on it. There have been leaks across the board from posters to toys giving clues as to what is happening in the main plot, but there’s been no hard news from Bungie on the matter. This is going to be even more unbearable for some, as some potentially groundbreaking news has just been “confirmed”. Destiny 2 may be coming to PC.
This comes from a simple tweet, that you can see below, and in it, it clearly says, “PC Destiny 2 LE”, which very likely means Limited Edition. Now the receipt below is just a pre-order, which is big news in and of itself entirely, and apparently, this is happening in GameStop Germany, which explains why this isn’t on Amazon yet because they could be jumping the gun. This has happened with other games before.
It was quite interesting that the original Destiny did not come out on the PC at any point. After all, this was basically a large MMO, which PC gamers love, and Bungie has had experience with PC via the Halo series, so why didn’t it make the jump? It’s hard to say for sure, but if this is to be believed, it means they’re going to correct this for Destiny 2.
Another thing you likely saw was that the man behind the tweet, Snowy, stats that the game will be available September 17th. Now obviously that date could be exclusive to Germany/Europe, and other countries could get it at some other time, however, this is a good date to take broadly. Furthermore, if it is true, it means that we could get some juicy Destiny 2 details at E3.
