Bungie has announced that the first raid for Destiny 2 will go live on September 13th, getting underway at 10am PT. This date takes place a week after the game’s launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It appears as if Bungie are keeping a lot of information under wraps where this raid is concerned, with director Luke Smith confirming on Twitter that “There will be no Raid tease for Destiny 2’s first Raid.” You can see why they would be keeping their cards close to their chest, though given the amount of talented players out there, you can be sure that they will be blasting their way through to the end in no time. Not only that, but the new guided games option will give players a helping hand, even with a mere week to get to grips with everything before the raid begins.
As for Destiny 2’s team-based competitive mode, dubbed their version of Trials, this will go live in the game on September 15th at 10am PT, so there’s another date for you to keep an eye out for.
Destiny 2 will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 8th, followed by a release on PC for the first time for a Destiny game on October 24th.
