Destiny had an accompanying app called Ishtar Commander that would allow players to work on their characters when not in the game, and therefore have them fully ready when they did return. A month after release, the app has now been released for Destiny 2.
The Ishtar Commander for Destiny 2 is available for free right now on the Google Play Store and the App Store. For those who have an iOS device, you may need to uninstall the original to allow for this newer version to update on your device. But once you have it on your system, you’ll be able to log into your Destiny 2 account and instantly begin looking at and rearranging your gear.
As mentioned above, you’ll actually be able to look at the gear you currently have in the game. Furthermore, you’ll be able to trade and access the vault itself in order to move and/or get what you need for your Guardian. It’ll take time off what you would need to do in the main game itself, thus allowing you more time to do what you want. What’s more, it’s a “no adverts, no nag screens” kind of app, so you won’t be bothered while you’re using it.
The app itself was made by one man, Redditor TheRealDesignker, but was supported by the community in a big way, as they helped test the app and ensure it was ready for release.
So, if you’re looking for a new way to deepen your Destiny 2 experience, you should check out the Ishtar Commander app.
