In the vast majority of cases, gaining 100% of achievements in a game takes a ridiculous amount of grind, and Diablo III is no exception to this rule. Dedicated players of the ARPG have managed to climb to the top of the proverbial mountain by claiming every achievement possible, which is an impressive accomplishment, particularly given some of the achievements that Diablo III tasks us with.
Unfortunately, there is little reward for doing so. Of course, we can’t expect there to be an achievement for claiming them all, but something to acknowledge the accomplishment surely wouldn’t go amiss. You could argue that it is about the journey and not the destination, which would be a valid point, but could something be introduced as a kind of pat on the back from Blizzard?
Another question would be if they were to implement some kind of reward, what would it be? Members of the Diablo community have put forward suggestions of their own, such as user Mimir who believes that Blizz could “throw us a portrait frame or exclusive banner,” which is a more than fair suggestion.
As fellow user Lotus suggests, the grind is no quick task: “ It took me 3 days to solo all the set dungeons just after their release. I love my wings. But try 3 years. How about some godly rare and beautiful wings? Something?”
For a feat that can take years to achieve, some form of acknowledgement would be a pleasant way to thank fans for dedicating so much of their time to one game.
