Today, Larian Studios has announced that Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be coming to Steam on September 14th, boasting a full roster of voice acting talent of over one million words and 74,000 lines present as voiced dialogue.
You may well recognize some of the actors on offer, who are considered veterans within the gaming industry. Harry Hadden-Paton will take up the role of the Red Prince, the heroic lizard noble exiled from his own empire. Elven assassin Sebille will be voiced by Alix Wilton Regan, whilst possessed star musician Lohse will be voiced by Tamaryn Payne. Alec Newman will be voicing Beast, who must save his people from their tyrannical queen, and Chris Bonwell as the undead, though his origins are yet to be revealed so far.
So Divinity: Original Sin 2 has a lot to offer regarding the dialogue in the game, and it doesn’t stop there either. The game also has around 1200 characters and creatures, all of which are voiced by a cast of around 80 actors. There’s so much voice content in fact, that you’ll need more than one playthrough to discover all of the voice content in the game. So if you’re planning on interacting with every NPC and origin story, you’ll need to play through a number of times.
