Despite its rough start, Ubisoft’s The Division has slowly been making strides towards it being a more functional, not to mention fun, game. Their latest attempt to add the depth of the title came in a vastly different new game mode. Titled, The Division: Survival, the game’s mission shifts drastically, and players are forced to adapt to the new world within the old one.
In The Division: Survival, players are still in New York, however, a massive blizzard has consumed the city. With supplies low, and people more desperate than ever, you and your allies must scavenge for supplies, and try and make it to a designated area. All the while being on the lookout for not only enemies, but those who would harm you to get what they want.
As revealed on the official site, The Division is now available on PS4, with an extra patch to ensure that the game plays well on the PS4 Pro.
“We’re happy to announce that our second expansion to The Division, Survival, is now available for Playstation 4! It’s part of the Season Pass, but it’s also available to buy separately. Remember that if you have the Season Pass, you will still need to download Survival from the PSN store before you’ll be able to play it.
We’ve also released our first Playstation 4 Pro upgrade patch, enabling higher resolution and improved framerates for all our players on PS4 Pro (irrespective if they own Survival or not).”
