Dragon Ball FighterZ is aiming to be a very special Dragon Ball game, not the least of which is because instead of just pulling from one version of the beloved, they’re pulling from all the series (not including GT, fans know why) in the franchise. This includes the currently ongoing Dragon Ball Super, and from that anime comes many characters, but none may be as calm or as cool as the being known as Hit. Don’t let the name fool you though, he’s not a one-hit wonder.
Hit hails from Universe 6, and was a part of the Tournament Of Power. He’s an assassin on his planet, and his the skills and techniques to back that title up. He was a tough match for Goku, and you’ll soon see that Dragon Ball FighterZ brings his intense style to the battlefield, as well as his very creative moveset. Don’t believe us? Check out the trailer below.
Hit specializes in melee attacks, to the point that even his energy attacks have melee twists on them. What’s more, Hit can “emit” a field of ice that grows on the ground. If the opponent touches the ice, Hit will do an instant melee attack. Talk about versatile. Oh, and that big band jazz music? Cool.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will be heading to beta starting on the 14th, or the 13th if you were able to secure early access. The beta will feature 11 characters for you to play as, including Goku, Vegeta, Adult Gohan, Kid Buu, Frieze, Cell, Krillin, Nappa, Android 18, Beerus and Piccolo. Along with those characters will come many stages and a few modes for you to test out, including the main battle mode, online battles, and even a training mode.
Without a doubt this is going to be the fighting game to beat this year.
