Sometimes, it’s not enough that a game is almost out, you want to get into that video game as soon as humanly possibly. Thus, when an Early Access opportunity arises you jump at it. Well, the team at Square Enix realize that a lot of people wanted that for their next MMORPG expansion, so they’re letting some fans get into Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood a bit early, starting today. You yourself can still register for it if you want, or, you can wait for the game to release on the 20th, your call.
If you do want to be a part of the Early Access, you need to have an active account, and also have a pre-order bonus code for the system or PC you are playing the game on. Then, you’ll need to register that pre-order bonus code. If you do all that, you’ll be able to get into Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood early. And of course, anything you do in Stormblood during these four Early Access days will remain once the game launches.
As for Stormblood itself, it’s a pretty big expansion worthy of all the hype that it’s been getting. For example, Eorzea is getting some new lands that you can explore. In fact, it’s getting several of them so that you can go beyond what you think is the known world. Add to that, the game is releasing two new jobs that fans have been asking for some time, including the Red Mage.
And of course, with these new lands and jobs comes the ability to do brand new quests. Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood claims to have hundreds of new quests waiting for, that’s quite a lot.
Add to all of that the increase of the level cap, new items and weapons, the new dungeons and raids, and it’s clear this expansion will keep you occupied no matter when you enter it.
