EVE Online has some Black Friday offers for players this weekend, until Monday, November 29, 11:00 UTC. The sale has the biggest saving on PLEX and various bundles with discounts, with several skins, and up to 40 items per bundle. Also, an issue with skill points has been fixed during the downtime.
EVE is having its Black Friday promotions, And with it PLEX is cheaper than ever. The price is reduced up to 25%, starting from 7%. PLEX is an in-game item that lets you pay for the game subscription, without using traditional payment methods. With this, players can simply pay for the game time by playing the game. Also, since this is an in-game item, it can be sold in the game on the market. So you can buy it and sell it, or just buy it from someone on the game market.
This weekend you can also get bundles of skins, with more than 50% off all bundles. This promotion includes Destroyer, 4 items; Battlecruiser, 12 items; Frigate, 20 items; Cruiser, 40 items; and Capital, 12 items.
Be sure to grab PLEX, or the bundles you want, because you’ll only have 2 and a half days to do it. Most likely, any other promotion made by EVE won’t be close to this one. Along with this, with the release of Ascension, EVE deployed a skill reimbursement.
During their downtime the skillpoint issue got fixed, a problem which a great number of EVE players were experiencing. The issue was, according to CCP Falcon, that “pilots had skills that trained skillpoints beyond the number of points that were needed to take them to Level V in a skill.”
Skills are a very important part of EVE, as they are what governs the abilities of the character. They are what determines what ship the player can fly, usable modules, the effectiveness of previous mentioned and a lot of other important factors to the game character. With this bug, players were using much more skillpoints than needed to reach the skill’s maximum level. So, it took them more time to reach the skillpoints necessary.
