Developers must constantly be improving their games, especially when their players are asking for specific changes that will definitely make the game better. It may seem trivial at first, but these changes can help the game in a big. Take for example what EVE: Valkyrie – Warzone did with its recent R4.5 patch. They made not only the standard bug fixes, but added a special feature that will please just about every person who plays the game.
The biggest improvement is the Windowed Mode adjustments. The mode was a bit limited before, as was constrained by the aspect ratio of the game resolution. But now, the EVE Valkyrie Online team has made it so that you can now adjust the game screen to whatever size you want, regardless of aspects ratio. What’s more, once you have it set to where you want it, the game will remember it, and thus when you exit and come back, the game will be exactly how you left it.
Again, this may seem like a small change, but this freedom gives players a choice and a chance to experience things without the constraints it had before.
But if you’re looking for a little more from this patch, don’t worry, there was some. The team put together some changes for the balance of the game as well.
For example, the Wraith ship has had its Mjolnir attack power reduced against Carrier Cores. What happened was people noticed how deadly it was to them, so they used it as their sole tactic to finish them off. While you can still do this, it won’t be as deadly as it was before.
The Jackal has had a reticle glitch repaired, so now it should display properly. Check out the full patch notes to see how the other ships in EVE: Valkyrie have been affected as well.
