EVE: Valkyrie – Warzone is a game that you probably want to play with a joystick, as you’re flying a freaking spaceship, and the mouse and keyboard don’t give you the same slick controls that they joystick does. Of course, players can use whatever they prefer, and the last patch that came to the game brought a lot of additions and changes, as well as support for a lot of popular joysticks out there, but some issues came as well.
We covered the latest patch that arrived to EVE: Valkyrie – Warzone, which brought enhanced mouse control to the game, 21:9 Widescreen support and NVIDIA Surround and AMD EyeFinity support, and it also came with extended HOTAS flight stick support on the PC. Well, players reported some issues connected to the joystick support, but thankfully, CCP responded swiftly and released a small hotfix in order to fix any problems that the last patch caused, so let’s see what exactly got fixed.
Players can now set an input to be “not bound”, joystick users will now also be able to customise their inputs that are needed for using both the Clone Vat and the Tactical Menu, and lastly this hotfix made it so that joystick users have the ability to bind the Selection Wheel input.
But, this hotfix will break all of your customised input bindings. This, unfortunately, can’t be avoided, so the developers urge the players to first make a note of their inputs before they start downloading this patch, which will allow them to apply your personal inputs as soon as you enter the game again.
