The Exiled, a unique sandbox MMO/MOBA from Fairytale Distillery, has announced their launch date for Steam Early Access as February 23rd, 2017. The game will be available exclusively via Steam, and in multiple languages.
The Exiled on Steam Early Access
A few select people have been able to experience The Exiled already, via their Closed Alpha test that began on December 1, 2016. The developers now feel comfortable with a launch date for Steam Early Access in late February. The game combines elements of traditional MMORPG’s, RTS games, and MOBA’s, into one persistent and open world.
In a gregarious effort to please people who have been waiting for this game for as long as two years, Fairytale Distillery has decided to make their title available with a one week free trial for anyone. After seven days, players can purchase one of a few tiers of Supporter Packs in order to keep playing the game.
The basic Supporter Pack will offer players the full game for US $20 or €20. The higher tier Supporter Packs contain additional aesthetic components and “other goodies.” The developers are particular about the fact that the higher tier Supporter Packs do not offer players a game play advantage.
The Exiled will be available via Steam on February 23rd, in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian. Fairytale Distillery is also inviting anyone wishing to play the game in another language to apply to become part of their translation team.
With the unusual mix of mechanics across genres, and a one week free trial, The Exiled is definitely worth checking out when it launches on February 23rd.
