A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, a movie called Star Wars began a culture that continues to this day. What began as a simple sci-fi movie became an inspiration for people across the world. 7 films, three TV series, a Christmas special that no one likes to talk about, and several dozen video games later, and it’s still going strong, being celebrated all over the world in many ways. The biggest celebration in the US is Star Wars Celebration, which is coming to Orlando on April 13th.
Wondering what can you expect from the event? Here’s a little breakdown. First up, a lot of the big names of the series are going to be there, such as Mark Hamill and Billy Dee Williams. However, there are a few surprises coming, like the return of Hayden Christensen, who doesn’t make appearances like this very often. He’ll be with Mark Hamill and others at a special “40th Anniversary Panel” that’ll honor all that Star Wars has done.
Also, there will be panels focusing on other aspects of the Star Wars universe, from humble Ewoks like Warwick Davis to the Sith themselves, Ian McDiarmid and Ray Park.
For those who are looking for teasers as to what’s coming up for the Star Wars franchise, the Star Wars Celebration has you covered. First, there’s going to be special panels for both Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, and a panel to tease what’s coming in the fourth season of Star Wars Rebels.
If gaming is more your style, there will be a look at Battlefront 2, which will continue the line of Star Wars gaming titles. So, if you’re ready to feel the Force, you might want to stay tuned for Star Wars Celebration reveals.
