Final Fantasy is one of the proudest and long-running series in the gaming world. And is hailed as one of (if not the) greatest RPG franchise of all time. Its games are almost always instant classic, especially those in the main line. Recently, Square Enix has been doing its best to bring back classic titles from the franchise to the modern age. Last year, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age was released on PS4, and did incredibly well for a remaster. And now, Square Enix is bringing the game to PC.
The PC version of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will feature all the upgrades that the PS4 version had. This includes the upgraded visuals, the new re-orchestrated soundtrack, the ability to fast forward, the Speed and Trial Modes, and so much more. What’s more, the game will be running at 60 FPS, and if you have the Ultra Wide monitor setup, you can use it to its fullest here.
Asif that wasn’t enough, the special “post-game” modes (Game Plus and Game Minus) are actually going to be available from the outset of the game. You’ll also be able to choose from one of three different versions of the game’s soundtrack, and have full controller support, Steam trophies, and more.
Plus, the day after the game releases, Producer Hiroaki Kato and Director Takashi Katano will be going onto Youtube to answer all your questions about Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. Just go to the Final Fantasy Youtube Channel and watch it all unfold!
For those who get the game via Steam, you’ll be able to get the game for 20% off in its first week, and a three-track compilation, AND a special skin for the game.
So, prepare to save the world in a remastered way when the game arrives on February 1st.
