Final Fantasy XV was already a masterful game, even if it wasn’t a perfect masterpiece. The story, world, characters, open-world gameplay, battle system, and more has charmed a lot of people in its times. However, Square Enix didn’t just want to rest on its laurels, and thus created a slew of new content for the game. The first was a set of DLC’s that focused on the characters of the game, and then, they released the multiplayer expansion, Comrades.
This special mode let players create their own member of the Kingsglaive, and take part in special missions that take place after Final Fantasy XV. It’s a very unique thing, and many are enjoying it. And now, the mode is going to get a free update on March 6th that’s going to add a bunch of new content, include new characters to play as. You can see the breakdown in full via the video below:
As you can see, the trailer shows off the grandness of the multiplayer expansion, and that still only scratches the surface of what players can do in it. The character creation is deep, and the missions and quests you can go on will keep you occupied for some time. Square Enix is going to continue updating the game, even letting you team up with some of the main characters of Final Fantasy XV such as Gladious, Ignis, Prompto, and more. So there’s a lot to do, and there’s going to be a lot more to do.
This update is timely, as the PC version of Final Fantasy XV is coming out on March 6th as well, which will greatly grow the fanbase of the game no doubt. Add to that, the mobile version of the game has hit Google Play and iOS, so it’s a great time to be a Final Fantasy fan.
