For Honor, Ubisoft’s hack-n-slash game has gone through a new update via a maintenance session, and through it, the game not only got improved, but some fan wishes were granted. Some of which has been asked for since the game released in February. First off, the new update brought back River Fort, and also, Ubisoft stated on their blog that the High Fort will be re-introduced soon too as long as nothing drastic goes wrong with River Fort.
However, the big thing that is coming from the update is the arrival of a boost to Steel rates for completing parts of the game. For a long time, again, since basically the beginning of the game, players have noted to Ubisoft that the acquisition of Steel in For Honor is incredibly difficult. Without it, players can’t upgrade their warriors and get them new armor and weapons. But, with the high cost of these armors and weapons, getting enough Steel has been a major pain.
So, Ubisoft has boosted them. Now, any and all matches you do will have their Steel reward increased by 25%. Daily Orders will be increased by 33%. With Side Orders increased by 50%. Finally, Community Orders will be raised from 500-1000 to 2000 Steel.
According to Ubisoft, this means that the first few hours of your daily run-through of For Honor could see your Steel production rise by as much as 45% compared to how Steel used to be.
Other additions that have been included are new Elite outfits for the Knights, Vikings, and Samurai, with more coming soon.
Also, there was an outage on March 28th, and Ubisoft is rewarding players for being patient during it by giving all players a 3-day Champion Status.
So, if you’ve been hoping Ubisoft would make adjustments to For Honor, be happy, they are listening to you.
