Gigantic is aiming to be a new take on the MOBA genre, but, it has a little bit of growing to do before it’s to be released to the general public. In fact, the game doesn’t have a release date, and is currently in beta right now. The team behind the game has just released its first minor update for Gigantic, with this first “minor update” will feature the standard bug fixes and polishes. However, it’ll also add new features as well, and its the team’s hope that this will be the beginning of a steady stream of updates to help improve Gigantic.
First off, they’ve fixed a serious bug that had been causing crashes in matches. Secondly, they worked on fixing issues that were actually noted on by players. This included the “two ghost-dads” issue along with a bug that prevented summoned creatures from returning to the origin spots. Also, they’ve added content that was scheduled to be featured in the previous update, including a better overview of your progress in the Fortune Card Collection screen. Finally, they’ve made a number of balance adjustments and bug fixes to further make the game better for all who play it.
But even better, they’ve added things such as new skins for characters such as Voden and Pakko. They fixed many more bugs than what was mentioned above, as well as outlined major bugs that they know they need to fix, such as issues with the tutorial. Finally, they also made many adjustments to their heroes, you can see the full breakdown of the tweaks for them here.
So be sure to check into the Gigantic beta, it’ll be getting more updates in due time.
