Are you a Gigantic player who has been enjoying the game ever since it launched its Open Beta three or so months ago? Have you ever wanted to see who were the top players in the game currently? If you ever wanted to see something like leaderboards in Gigantic, you’re in luck, as the developers decided that they’re finally going to add them to the game.
When the leaderboards get added, you will be able to see a lot of things including the rank, most played hero, the level of the account, the Gamertag, and the total wins of the best players in Gigantic. This is especially great for players of the game who are competitive, as your placement on the leaderboard depends on your skill rating that’s relative to other players. This means that the placement is calculated on your wins and losses versus the players that you face and their quality. Basically, if you win against opponents that are higher on the leaderboard than you are, your rating will greatly improve.
They have also added an individual’s career stats page to see your account level, your total amount of wins, how much time you spent playing the game, and how much badges you earned. You have the ability to switch between Career Best and Career Average to see overall who you’re doing with every hero in the game.
Both of these features will help the game a lot, as it’s always nice to see if you’re improving in an MOBA by looking at stats and performances, and the leaderboard and the individual’s career stats page allow you to do just that! The leaderboards will be live on February 23.
