One of the things that is a certainty in video games is that bugs and glitches are lurking and will be missed upon a games release. This also goes for expansions and updates. Take Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire for example. This highly-anticipated expansion to the hit MMORPG has only been out a week, but a bunch of bugs, glitches, errors, and freak accidents have occurred. As such, the team have been working very hard to fix the problems. Every day they fix something new, and today is no different.
On the official Release Notes page for the Path of Fire expansion, the Arena Net team reveal each day what they have fixed. Here are today’s fixes.
For the Holosmith, the Coolant Blast skill has had an issue that made it so each pulse would heal a different amount instead of a steady one, this has been remedied. There was also an issue with the chilled version of the skill that was also fixed.
Spearmarshal armor piece recipes are now bound to the individual’s Guild Wars 2 account. For the Mirage, the False Oasis skill was having a similar issue as the Coolant Blast, this too has been remedied. Also in skills, the skills of Brave Stride, Riddle of Sand, and Opening Strike were having issues in regards to a player getting off a mount and not being put back on active. This will no longer be a problem.
The Mirage Specialization had a dodging issue in which dodges would be queued. This has been adjusted. There were also issues with certain recipes that made it so they wouldn’t be identified right, and thus the wrong thing would be made, or they would be called the wrong name. This also has been fixed.
With many people trying out Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire, it goes to reason that many more bugs will be found. Stay tuned for more updates.
