The autumn season has finally arrived in Albion Online, and Sandbox Interactive will be kicking of festive proceedings prior to Halloween with some special events. You’ll notice that the surrounding cities are laden with pumpkins, fallen leaves and other spooky props to get you ready for all hallows’ eve which boasts some themed events to take part in.
These events will see players exploring the lands completing a number of tasks in which you will have to find and collect Pumpkin Pips. These can be found around camps, chests, on expeditions, in the arena or in randomly appearing locked pumpkins. These can then be used to redeem special Halloween rewards, or trade them with others.
The Halloween rewards on offer include a variety of Pumpkin Heads, including grinning, sad and angry. There’s a Plague Doctor outfit complete with hygienic mask, coat and boots, plus a skeleton costume with a laughing skull, ribcage, legbones and a ragged cape. You can also get the Jack o’Donkey, and what is described as the “ultimate reward” in the Horse Macabre.
The fall season will last until November 15th, 2017, and will bring plenty of additional events for the game’s community to indulge in. The sandbox MMORPG from Sandbox Interactive is set in a medieval fantasy world, so Halloween mixed in with it is bound to be something to see. So whether you’re a fighter, a farmer, a merchant or master craftsmen, you will be sure to find an event here or there to keep you occupied over this season.
