The upcoming patch for the famous Blizzard MOBA known as Heroes of the Storm has popped up on the PTR (Public Test Realm) of the game and it reveals a new hero, plenty of bugf ixes, balance tweaks to some heroes, and changes to the User Interface.
Garrosh makes his entrance to Heroes of the Storm. His passive trait is called Armor Up, which gives him 1 Armor for every 2% of his missing maximum Health. His Q is called Groundbreaker and deals AoE damage in an area. Those hit on the outer edges of the area will be drawn towards Garrosh. Bloodthirster is his W and it deals damage to an enemy while healing Garrosh for 10% of his missing Health. Wrecking Ball is his E and he uses it to throw an enemy minion, hero, or mercenary to his targeted location, which deals damage and slows them by 30% for a 2.5-second duration.
As for his heroic abilities, the one is called Warlord’s Challenge, which silences nearby heroes and taunts them for 1.5 seconds. Alternatively, players can choose Decimate, which deals damage to nearby enemies, slows them by 30%, and stores up to three charges. Each enemy Hero hit reduces the cooldown of his next Decimate by 1 second.
The User Interface of Heroes of the Storm got some improvements in this patch. New Armor debuff and buff indicators were added as well as cursor cooldown notifications which notify you about your cooldowns near your mouse cursor. This feature can be disabled in the options menu. MVP Banners is a new feature coming to the initial MVP screen which showcases a banner beside the MVP of the match.
Plenty of heroes had balance changes, such as the one for Ragnaros which shortened cooldowns for his Living Meteor and Blast Wave abilities, with some talent changes as well. The Butcher was nerfed a bit with his base AD going down from 140 to 130, along with some nerfs to his trait. Minor tweaks were done on Probius, Auriel, Sonya, and D.Va.
