Injustice 2 has recently introduced a new update, which features many bug fixes, balance updates and improvements made to the game’s stability. One of the key focus areas of the patch is based on Red Hood, a character who was released earlier this month as DLC.
Red Hood’s numerous changes mainly surround damage alterations, with reductions being made to Shrapnel Blast, whilst there’s been a damage increase to Shrapnel Blast’s Meter Burn, among other tweaks here and there. The patch list for Red Hood is longer than other characters on the roster, which is probably down to him being the latest to be added into the game.
Developers NetherRealm Studios have also made a change in this patch that restricts players to only being able to use particular stage interactions once per combo. Another key point worth noting is that a fix has been implemented to make projectile attacks interact appropriately with special moves.
A pretty vast number of other bug fixes and changes have been made in the July update, many of which fine tune a number of features within the game. For a full list of patch notes, head on over to the official Injustice 2 website.
Back on the subject of DLC, the next character confirmed to be joining the Injustice 2 roster will be mainstay Mortal Kombat character Sub-Zero. The grandmaster of the Lin Kuei will arrive on July 11th, you can check him out in action in the trailer below.
Injustice 2 is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
