Kings and Heroes is an MMORPG that is currently on Steam Early Access. What’s more, this isn’t like your standard MMORPGs, for in this one, your goal is to become the ultimate hero of the land. You’ll choose from one of seven species and one of five classes and then set off on your journey. Also, like a Roguelike title, every single dungeon in the game is procedurally generated, and thus can be played infinitely. And that’s just the beginning, as the game continues to grow.
In fact, the 55th patch for the game has gone live, and with it comes new things to explore and do. As noted on the Steam page, the team reveals just how big this patch truly is.
One of the biggest additions is the expansion of the people and content of the game. The world is now much more populated, with more additions to be made very soon. Also, players have been asking for a 3rd person perspective for the game, now they can have it.
Another big improvement is to the maps. Both the overworld map and the minimap have been improved. As a note though, the minimap will continue to be worked on in the upcoming weeks. This goes especially for the dungeon minimap.
The player characters though have gone through arguably one of the biggest changes. A lot of stats and abilities have been rebalanced and altered to be both more fair and more fun. You’ll definitely want to test out your characters and see how much these changes have affected them.
A major removal from the game was PVP play. The King and Heroes team notes that the game was built to be PVE, not PVP, and at present they don’t have the time to truly balance that gameplay to make it fun for all.
Be sure to check out the full notes to see all that’s changed, for this patch has much to offer.
