The free-to-play MMORPG Neverwinter has received a new patch, adding changes to content, environments, items and more. A few general fixes previously cited have also been addressed.
Starting with the Sea of Moving Ice, The Runestead weekly quest will now give campaign currencies in addition to reputation. As for Svardborg, Manticores will no longer fully heal if the player party dies in normal mode. They will now also regain collision properly after Serissa leaves the battle. On the subject of Manticores, the Manticore Talon artifact is usually able to be cancelled during the jump. This has now been rectified, in order to prevent triggering cooldown. Other artifacts, including the Earthen Heart artifact weapon set bonus will correctly accumulate stacks once more.
Combat and powers have also been updated in Neverwinter. Oathbound Paladins for example will receive a free respec token, if they were created before November 10th. Stronghold overload enchantments meanwhile will now display icons for their power buffs, should they affect Trolls and Giants. Companion-only enchantments will no longer activate either when equipped by players, and vice versa with Player-only enchantments.
There are a few general fixes to the game’s performance and stability also. Dead player characters won’t be able to be resurrected by healing potions, and a cited texture rendering crash has been partially fixed, as the team await further occurances to provide a diagnosis to use for a permanent fix.
Neverwinter, the f2p game based in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, is now available to play on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
