We’ve waited, and waited, and waited some more! Finally, the Nintendo NX has been given its official game and launch window. Nintendo Switch was revealed by Nintendo mere moments ago, and it is truly something to behold.
As we’ve speculated for the past several months, Nintendo Switch offers both dedicated home console and portable experiences. The console while docked seems to run even better than the Wii U, but when the core of the console is removed from its dock, it sacrifices some performance quality for the ability to play games on the go.
It appears to be quite modular, with the ability to detach the side controls in order to make small portable controllers for friends, even when you play on the go.
This video showed off footage for a few different games. One of them being a familiar face, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, while other games such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition also seemed to take center stage.
