Fans of Mobius Final Fantasy rejoice, as the game is receiving quite a bit of critical acclaim, taking the shape of a special award dedicated specifically to those mobile games that managed to shine this year. The “Google Play Best Game 2016 – Most Beautiful Award” was awarded to none other than Mobius Final Fantasy, and an interview with Naoki Hamaguchi, the Project Leader, followed shortly.
In regards to the “Welcome Back” campaign, currently taking place within game, Hamaguchi states that the team “hold[s] these types of in-game events periodically in Japan as well, but it’s easier for players to pick up a game that has already been in service for some time or retry a game they have previously played when there is some sort of catalyst.”
Because the English version of Mobius Final Fantasy is so universally geared, it has a much easier time hitting a global market than the Japanese version of the game.
Hamaguchi states in this interview that when the game launched globally, the Japanese audience was very helpful in guiding the American players towards how they should be pursuing the game.
Players of the immensely well received Final Fantasy XV should be glad to know that a collaboration between these two titles is not out of the question. hamaguchi says that if the opportunity arises to collaborate, he intends to do exactly that.
If you like Mobius Final Fantasy, it’s worth reading the entirety of this interview, which is linked right here. Another day, another fantastic game receiving its praises thanks to Google Play.
