As expected, we have finally seen the arrival of the new Overwatch hero, Moira.
Blizzard is known for putting on restrictions for new heroes that have been added to the roster. Typically, before they can be played as in the game’s competitive mode, they have to have been released for a week, in some instances more.
And now, it has come to the point where Moira is finally ready to be added to the ranks for players to use in Competitive Play. Just how well she will perform remains to be seen, given that it is still very early days. But given her capabilities, she is bound to have a positive impact. After all, she has a high survivability rate, has the capacity for solo healing and also pretty useful when it comes to attacking.
Moira was recently revealed at Blizzcon, and has already showcased her skills to many players over in Quick Play. So there isn’t much reason for anyone to doubt that she can transition this positive impact into Competitive Play. She has the skills to make herself one of the more popular choices of character on the competitive scene, it just remains to be seen if this will actually come to fruition.
Overwatch is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
