If you’ve been following the Marvel Cinematic Universe for sometime now, you may have already been experiencing the films, but the TV universe sometimes gets left behind. In spite of this, it’s all connected, and though its arguably the least connected content, the Netflix shows have a major stake in this game. In particular, Iron Fist is on the way, and it will finally tie together four disparate stories in time for the launch of the Defender’s series this fall.
From Luke Cage to Daredevil, Jessica Jones to Iron Fist, the Defender’s is set to bring together iconic Netflix superstars in the most highly anticipated superhero crossover since The Avengers.
A new trailer for Iron Fist launched last week, and it gives a lot of insight into the plot of the series, as well as how it will tie into the infectious spread of the evil organization known as The Hand. This organization, previously seen in season 2 of Daredevil will return once more, along with numerous other characters. Claire Temple, the only character to appear across all of the shows, is seen at numerous points throughout the trailer.
She was most recently and most prominently featured in Luke Cage, where she serves as a major character in the latter half of the season, as well as a major love interest for Cage.
If you’re interested in this universe and these characters, the trailer below is certainly worth giving a look. Iron Fist will be available on Netflix on March 17th.
