The undead, dinosaurs and evil servants of Acerak all await you in the Neverwinter update Swords of Chult, which will make its way onto Xbox One and PS4 on January 9th, 2018. This update will see players being forced to protect Port Nyanzaru, featuring a new endgame Skirmish, changes to the PvP system, improvements to inventory management and much more will be coming to the f2p MMORPG.
The new five-player skirmish, “The Merchant Prince’s Folly,” will give end-game adventures with new content for players to experience, wit new enemies, locations and new rewards on offer through a combination of new possibilities. Also, competitive adventurers will now be able to take advantage of the changes made to PvP, which includes a permanent solo queue, reworking for Tenacity stats, plus armor penetration changes, adjustments to control effects and new rewards for gear.
Also, Swords of Chult brings plenty of quality-of-life improvements that have been applied to the refinement system, with dungeon queuing and alts offering campaign progression. So needless to say, there is a whole new set of features that offer a much better quality of experience.
Neverwinter is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4, and is completely free to play, unless you choose to indulge in the in-game gear that is on offer for you to purchase with real money.
