Otherland is an MMORPG that launched back in 2015 that’s still being played today. It’s based on a hit set of novels that features worlds both familiar and exotic. You see, every world you go to is actually a virtual one. You are in a virtual multiverse, and you can explore it at your leisure. But there’s also an intense story mode waiting for you as well. The game is also still growing, and today the game will be getting a patch that’ll add even more to the title.
First off, a solo challenge. Or more specifically, Solo Challenges. For now, every single challenge in the game can be completed without the need for a group. Think you can take everything on yourself? Also, when you complete a challenge, you’ll get a Loot Box for free. As if that wasn’t enough, there are three new challenges for you in the game.
Dungeons are also getting the Loot Box treatment. If you beat them, you’ll get one for free. The Group Finder in Otherland has also been tuned, and hopefully this will make it a lot easier to find others to play with.
There have been several changes to Quests in the game. You’ll no longer be able to attack Fredericks in the “More, bigger issues” quest. In “Burning Rage,” NPCs are now safe from Steelrage. The follow problems in “Steely hum” have been resolved. You won’t have to use a special attack to kill the bishop in “Flames of Death” and more.
Even the maps have had some adjustments. Correct portals have been placed, certain areas where you could fall through the map have been fixed, and certain warnings for the player that were clogging up the screen have been removed.
Be sure to check out the full Patch Notes so that you can see all the Otherland changes.
