A new trailer has been revealed for the Anime-based sandbox MMORPG, Peria Chronicles. For those who are unfamiliar with the game, Peria Chronicles by ThingSoft is a free MMORPG with cel-shaded visuals and a Pokemon style of combat system. The visuals bear a strong resemblance to the recent Naruto console games, mixed with its own vibrant and unique style to make an impact on the MMO genre.
Peria Chronicles may be in its infancy compared to other games in the MMO department, but it still has a lot to offer. Players for example have the opportunity to create their own towns across personal landscapes, filled with buildings and much more. Also, players can partake in user-created quests, which are often rewarded with gold, which goes to the creator should the player fail to complete it.
Towns require several players in order to keep on top of maintenance amongst other tasks, which leads on to a more dynamic feature for Peria Chronicles. The size of your city for example, changes and expands when more players join. This will see a large growth in the size of your landscape, however in turn it also means deserted areas will reduce in size until they disappear of the map altogether.
