Prime Arena is a MOBA with survival elements that launched on October 19th, and it got its first patch already. The first thing that they fixed is the case with player disconnects and game crashing. Now when you disconnect or crash the player rating will get awarded by the lowest place, instead of the heavy reduction that was in the game prior to this patch.
Heroes overall received some changes. The Speed of all Heroes is now 57, but Steamrock has a Speed of 52. Freeze, Mistress of Souls, Gunslinger, and Da’Ka got their ability descriptions fixed. The interaction of ultimate abilities between Fire Maestro and Fang got resolved, and all Native Terrain effects in certain abilities were removed or incorporated into the baseline. Now, let’s talk about changes that were made to specific Heroes.
Mistress of Souls got the damage of her Ghost Whip doubled, but its cooldown was increased to 7 seconds. The cooldown of her Shield of Ghosts ability was also increased to 12 seconds from 9, and the Reaping ability’s damage and lifedrain got reduced by 25%. Fang’s Wild Beast ability upgrade will now calculate damage correctly, and the Health Regeneration from his Lycanthropy ability was decreased by 15%. Also, his Strength increase per level was toned down (from 8 to 6 per level).
Fire Maestro’s Upgraded Wind and Sparks ability got tweaked, now it reduces cooldown by 2 seconds per enemy hit instead of 3, and the Primeval Fire ability now gives 3 empowered attacks instead of 4 and its upgrade should now recover Health to the hero as intended. Naga’s maximum stacks of poison are now 6 instead of 3, a bug where she could apply 3 stacks of poison in one attack got fixed, and the bug that didn’t increase Lifedrain from the Deadly Dash ability upgrade was also corrected.
Lastly, Steamrock’s Giant Stomp ability got its slow toned down a bit (from 10% – 16% to 8% – 12%). That’s all when it comes to Hero changes.
Grenadiers will no longer root randomly, now they root after a specific number of attacks. Portals, Glyph nodes, and fountains will reveal war fog even if they’re recharging. There was a bug that gave a different icon to some items instead of their normal icon, which was fixed. If you’re Rooted, you won’t be able to use the Dimension Door item.
