The Overwatch competitive scene is remotely getting better. After only 2 seasons the game is much more recognized as an eSport and many players are becoming professionals. Even though professional gaming might seem like a dream job, the career isn’t always that fun. Players can pop under all the pressure that the team is putting on them. In this case, it’s the story of Talespin.
Before joining Team EnVyUs, Talespin was a well-known professional in many games such as Team Fortress 2, Shootmania, Firefall, Tribes: Ascend and Nosgoth. In the Overwatch scene, he is well-known as one of the best DPS players in North America.
In their video series The Blueprint, Team EnVyUs announced that Ronnie “Talespin” DuPree has left the team roster and is pursuing a career out of the gaming world. But later on Twitter, he denied that.
I’m writing a longer explanation but heres a short version: I’m leaving EnVyUs, wasn’t happy on the team, I’m not quitting OW, watch my streams.
Now that Talespin has left the team, EnVyUs desperately need someone else to take the role because they have to play against Rogue on November 21.
