Overwatch eSports team Misfits have recruited Anton COOLLER Singov, replacing Jonathan Kryw Nobre. Misfits owner Ben Spoont confirmed the move, wishing Kryw the best in his future endeavors.
In a recent statement, Spoont stated: “We can confirm that Cooller is replacing Kryw, and we wish Kryw the best of success in the future. He was a tremendous asset to the team, including his fantastic performance at the Overwatch Open.” A seasoned veteran of the Quake scene, COOLLER is a recognized player following a stint with the Russian team ANOX. COOLLER was relegated to a substitute when the organisation parted company with the team, which continued under the name Slav Squad.
Lucio will be COOLLER’s character of choice for Misfits, replacing the previous Lucio player Sebastian “Zebbosai” Olsson, who will make a permanent move to the flex position. As for the departing Kryw, he is considered one of the best Zarya players around and is now a free agent who will surely attract the attention of other teams to snap him up. Given that rosters will be looking to shake things up before the Overwatch League begins, many will be looking to add to their ranks and Kryw would be a vital asset.
Meanwhile, an upcoming engagement with DreamHack Winter awaits Misfits, which is set to start on November 24th. In order to qualify for the BYOC tournament, they will have to repeat their success from previous matches against the likes of compLexity, Fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas and four other teams to make it through.
