To celebrate the coming of the new Monolith map for Paragon, Epic Games will be hosting a live stream on December 5.
Starting with an AMA (short for Ask Me Anything) with questions from Reddit and the official forums, the Paragon live stream will be hosted on Epic Games’ official Twitch channel and count with members of the development team. Following that, community matches will be broadcast featuring some of the most skilled Paragon players, coming straight from organized events. The live stream will start on December 5 at 11 a.m. EST on Epic Games’ official Twitch channel.
Additionally, another set of community matches will be held for European fans. A selected group of players from the UK, France, Spain, and Germany will put their skills to test in a friendly match on Paragon’s new map. The first round will see Spain against Germany and France against UK, with the winners battling for the podium and the losers fighting over the third place. Also on December 5 at 7 p.m. CET, the matches will be broadcast on Jebro’s and INinjaNinja respective Twitch channels.
Paragon is a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) developed and published by Epic Games, mostly famous for the Unreal and Gears of War series of games, as well as developing the popular Unreal Engine. It became available for Early Access in March and is now undergoing an open beta test phase, which started in August. With a more grounded and edgy approach to the genre, the game differentiates itself from its competitors by adopting an over the shoulder third person perspective in full 3D maps.
Powered by the Unreal Engine 4, Paragon is available now in open beta for Windows PC and PlayStation 4.
